How far will Ron DeSantis’ presidential bid take him?

As expected, Gov. Ron DeSantis of Florida is running for president in 2024. 

The Florida governor is taking on his old frenemy, former President Donald Trump, as he seeks the Republican nomination and a chance to oust President Joe Biden from office.

DeSantis, who was riding high in the wake of a landslide reelection victory last fall, has since lost ground to Trump in the polls, however, and will need to regain momentum to have a shot at the White House.
