Mail-in ballots have been sent and early voting sites have opened and closed. Soon, it will be time for the final event on Tuesday: Old-fashioned in-person ballot casting at neighborhood polling places.

In Florida, registered voters who wish to cast a ballot on Election Day have from 7 a.m. till 7 p.m. (local time) but must do so at their assigned precinct. Anyone still in line at 7 p.m. is allowed to vote. Voters must have a "current and valid photo ID with signature," according to the state's Division of Elections, which has a list of which ones are accepted

The division also has a page that allows voters to look up or confirm their polling place by county. The website, however, notes that "registered voters in Charlotte, Lee and Sarasota Counties should visit their county website for specific information about voting at the polls."

And, as of Sunday, more than 4.5 million people in Florida already had voted either by mail-in ballot or at an early voting site, according to the division's website.

Republicans were far outpacing Democrats in early voting 1,086,949 to 598,457, while Democrats had the edge against GOP voters in vote-by-mail by 1,063,734 to 912,427. Also, no-party-affiliated voters cast a total of 833,103 ballots by both methods.
