The endorsements for Florida’s Democratic gubernatorial candidates

Before registered Democratic voters make their choice for the party’s nomination in August, here’s who’s on whose side.

Incumbent GOP Gov. Ron DeSantis has no Republican competition, but Florida Democrats will have to make a choice in the state's August primary for governor – and the candidates hope that some prominent thumbs-ups will sway voters’ minds. 

U.S. Rep. Charlie Crist and Agriculture Commissioner Nikki Fried each have a coterie of high-profile supporters willing to put their name where their vote is.
